Appearance
The new version of Discover is shaped very fine by the engineers of the Bajaj. The homework is clearly seen in the design and performance of the machine. The main features of the bike include attracting body graphics, superb body lining, ride control switch, new style tail lamp. All the eye-catching things is placed with utmost care to give it a complete charming female. The bike is electric start and response with the pressure of the thumb. The cowl shape gives it the wild tiger shape. It head lamp under with twin pilot lamps, full function twin pod console. The Discover's sporty looking chain cover is nice. Shape and positioning of the seat is beautiful and comfortable to ride. Alloy wheel adds to the beauty of the bike. It would be much better if equipped with high-tech puncture resistant tyre technology. Overall, Pickup is awesome, no vibration. As far as the overall look, it may be termed as black beauty bike. The machine has all black treatment to its engine, exhaust pipe, suspensions and its alloy wheels as well.
The black colour treatment all over the bike with red and blue strips enhances its charming looks.The masculine styling bike is provided with a Double Cradle Type frame. A swing ram pivot section and rubber tray guard at the centre base of the bike makes it much sporty and stylish.
The gas filled rear shocks which are absent from the 112 and 125 cc Discovers is incorporated in it.The new Bajaj Discover 135cc DTS-i also having a broader rear tyre (100/90 x 17, 52 P) than its lower cc bikes. The front tyre specifications are 2.75 x 17, 42 P. The wheelbase is also comparatively more i.e. 1305 mm as to provide greater grip on road.

The overall height, length and width of Discover 135cc DTS-i are 1065mm, 2030mm, 760mm respectively. It has a wheel base of 1305mm and kerb weight is 133 kg for Electric start. It has a ground clearance of 179mm. Discover 135cc DTS-i comes with 4-Stroke, DTS-I, Natural Air Cooled engine with displacement of 134.21 CC. The engine of Bajaj Discover 135cc DTS-i is much efficient than the 125cc Bajaj Discover. Digital Twin Spark Ignition (DTS-i) provides better combustion, power, and mileage.There is the DTS ignition, the digital CDI ignition and ExhausTEC technology that translate into enhanced power, performance as well as fuel economy in the new Discover 135 cc version. The engine has a support for single cylinder and the electrical specification of the bike is 12 volts. Discover 135cc DTS-i develops 9.64 Kw of peak power at 8500rpm and generates a torque of 11.88 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The Discover 135cc DTS-i is started by kick and self start. It has 4-speed constant mesh type transmission and the clutch is comfortable to use and the four gears can be changed from one to another with much ease.
The front suspensions in Discover 135cc DTS-i include telescopic 135 mm stroke and the rear suspension includes trailing arm with coaxial hydraulic shock absorbers and coil springs. A front 240 mm hydraulic disc brake enhances safety and mechanical expanding shoe and 130 mm drum type rear brakes. The suspension helps the bike to have a smooth ride. ExhausTEC - Torque Expansion Chamber for exhaust system helps enhanced torque at low revolutions-bike can be run at low speeds without stalling the engine or jerking or compromising performance at higher revolutions. Equipped with friction busting technology like frictions on contact surface and arms mounts are present on the female.
Compared to Discover 125cc the weight of Discover 135cc is more by 4 kgs that can be results from the new suspension added to the new bike. Seat and Handle bar are placed to be much benefiting to the biker giving much stability and superior looks to the bike. The chassis is a double cradle type. The Bajaj Discover 135 cc is easy to control, easy on the pocket.
Acceleration
The bike can acheive speed of 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. Than 0-100kmph speed, it can cover it in only 23.75 seconds. Acceleration is much quicker when chasing 0-400m i.e. In 20.7 seconds. Top Speed is 103.4 kmph. Braking 60 kmph (meters) 18.4.
Fuel Efficiency
Fuel economy is 59.9kmpl. The fuel tank capacity is 10 litres and 2.3 litres reserve as well. Keihin CV carburetor gives more mileage. Engine mass is light and reduced frictional losses increase mileage and speed.

There is slight noise in gear shifting from 2nd to3rd that should be improved. The second problem is the slim chain cover almost open type that makes the bike not fit for the professional bikers. Totally a false information that Doscover gives back, foot pain.. I am a user for Discover 135 for the last 19 months. I never had any of the back pain or foot pains.
