Had a short ride on both. The 500 efi was rougher than the 350 carb. There was a perceivable difference between the two in terms of feel . Additional power of the 500 certainly was appreciated and for long range riding would probably be a better bet.
350 was smooth and enjoyable to ride.
EFI cannot be retro fitted to 350. I preferred the 500 front tyre.
Difficult choice . 5oo deliciously tempting but 350 probably smarter choice.
UCE looks and sounds and feels good. Tappets still make a racket on 500.
500 feels overall less refined (it was a test bike though) 350 felt more refined but slightly more sluggish .
