RE: Lookwise tyres seems smaller in classic 500cc

I own a bullet Std 350. Technically if I speak about the Bullet Classic. Its comes with a UCE(unit construction Engine), that means that everything is inside the engine unlike previous bullets. I have spoken to a mech. repairing only Bullets from last 40+ years about the new model of the Bullet ( classic), he says that just the replace the Clutch plates we need to open the whole engine and will have to replace the Seal for the same. that would cost 2500/- INR excluding the price of Clutch Plates and also the Aluminum used as engine case is not so strong as compared to previous versions of the Bullets, that will free the Screws if the engine is opened 4 - 5 times.
What I personally feel is that, if there is a problem in the clutch plates, or gear box, we can simply open that specific part and take care of it, but in Classic (new) Models with UCE, this is not the case.
I would personally suggest you , if you want to purchase a bullet, go for an Old Bullet Std. like 90's Model and get it Re-done (that's what I have done and I am really very Happy with it). It will be lot more cheap and reliable and u'll have everything for what a Bullet is known for. But if you are seriously thinking for a new bike option, then go for Electra 4s with Disc Brakes ( I have added Disc brakes on my Std.)... Disc brakes adds a lot of beauty to the bike.. Go for Red or Black Color. (I have given a Electra Look with Black color)..
