But in city condition it can easily gives 55kmpl. Fuel capacity is also not as large as Hero Honda Splendor Plus City. Splendor Plus's fuel capacity is 10.5 litres whereas City has 16 litres and reserve is 1.4 litres and 2.5 litres respectively.
The basic model of the Splendor comes in eight stunning hues with stripes. The colours are black with purple stripe 1, black with purple stripe 2, black with purple stripe 3, black with silver stripe, hi granite blue, cloud silver, excellent blue and candy red. The new variant of Splendor comes fitted with drum type brakes at both end which do their duty within their capacity. For this kind of commuter bike, drum brakes are ideal but needs to be used with hand brake to have good results.
The Hero Honda Splendor Plus incorporates traditional shock absorbers. The rear suspension is a swing arm type adjustable fork and front one is telescopic hydraulic. Even these are conventional type forks but regarded and proved very efficient. The passenger doesn't feel jerks even on bad roads.
