Appearance

Mahindra Rodeo is a good looking scooter. The scooter is to compete with Suzuki Access and Honda Avaitor. The front fairing of the scooter looks awesome with wolf-eyed turn indicators. The front part is full of Rodeo logos pasted there. A bold Mahindra monogram is also pasted under the headlamp. Horn rimmed headlights is capable of offering clear vision of the way ahead. The rear view mirrors, in body colour, are adjustable and non-breakable. You can move them in 360 degree. A round shaped colour changing digital instrument panel is a worth looking feature in Mahindra Rodeo.

It comprises of speedometer, tachometre, tripmeter, odometre with clock that alert you about all these figures at ease. A USB cum mobile charger is also provided to mobile-savvy guys. The petrol tank now comes at front instead of under the seat. So you need not to get off the scooter when refilling. You can also use the same key for four different actions like handle lock, fuel tank lock, starting the engine and magnetic shutter. Side stand alarm alerts you when it remain unfolded.

Engine

This power scooter is powered by a 125cc power mill that develops a maximum power of 8 bhp at 7000 rpm while the maximum torque is 9 Nm at 5500 rpm. Mahindra Rodeo is a four stroke scooter. The output from the mill is quite good but couldn't surpass the class. The scooter is having both kick and self start options. The balanced power mill support to give best acceleration and pick-up. The engineers have applied enough thought to design the scooter and provide a ground clearance of 115 mm.

Acceleration

Due to its powerful engine, the scooter can give a good acceleration. It also compete with the scooters in the segment in this area. Riding it in crowded roads become much easier. The top speed you can enjoy is 80 kmph for this machine.

Fuel Efficiency

Mahindra Rodeo comes with 4.5 litre fuel tank. The fuel tank is at the front which make it easier to fill petrol. The mileage of the scooter is around 40 in city area. A four in one key is provided to ensure safety. This single key is designed to use for engine, fuel lock, handle lock and magnetic shutter.

Colours

Mahindra Rodeo is available in attractive seven colours. These include Deep Ocean Blue, Forest Green, Blazing Red, Cappuccino Brown, Majestic Maroon, Golden Beige and Fiery Black. The body colour dominates the whole body with Rodeo logos. Rear view mirrors and grab rails are painted in body colour. Available colours Are :

Brakes

Mahindra Rodeo sports 130mm drum brakes at front and rear. These kind of conventional brakes are sufficient for such scooters. But, you may feel some difficulty in rainy season. You can't expect instant halt but careful riding will help you to control the vehicle.

Suspension

The power scooter, Mahindra Rodeo, houses telescopic shock absorber at front and hydraulic shock absorber at rear. These forks add to the smooth riding as well. However, for maintaining good vehicle condition, one should drive carefully and avoid riding over potholes.

Wheels and Tyres

The scooter incorporates 3X10 inch tyres at both end. These small tyres take you to your destination in a smooth way. Clears the way for you easily in crowded roads.

Wheel Base and Controlling

Mahindra Rodeo sports quite good tyres. Controlling the machine become much easier with drum brakes and suspensions.

Comfortness

As far as comfort is concerned, Mahindra Rodeo is the best scooter in the class. The design of seat is comfortable for rider and pillion. Digital instrument panel, four in one key system, front fuel tank, USB port mobile charger and ample storage space are good enough to make you feel comfortable all the way.

Pros

Mahindra Rodeo is a good looking scooter with safety features. Colour changing digital dashboard looks eye-catching. Four-in-one key system is awesome.

Cons

Mahindra Rodeo comes with attracting features but below par as compared to class.
