The new Suzuki Slingshot is given sporty appearance that is attributed by its sharp Yamaha FZ S type mask, bolder fuel tank with stunning graphics, overall black theme with body colour, etc. The bike comes with stylish multi spoke alloy wheels, drum brakes, self and electric start, step-up seat, wide & long tyres and sharp tail side.
The front view can be mistake as Yamaha FZ S as it has the same mask design with distinctive dashboard at the top of the headlamp cluster. This sporty hood of the Suzuki Slingshot might proved as the deciding factor when one goes to buy it. The mask is having body colour panels and the turn indicators are big in shape which are placed in the headlamp cluster. The fuel tank of the bike is now more bolder than Suzuki Zeus; however, the petrol filling capacity remains the same. This time the tank has got less but attractive graphics with 'S' sticker.
The new entrant in the market, Suzuki Slingshot, is blessed with step-up seat that ensures separate bucket like space for the rider and the pillion. The sleek grab rail is not painted in body colour but the rear panels are in body match along with super cool graphics.
The rear side of the bike is as funky as the front view, the rear end has sharp fender, brake light and tail light. The tyres are wide and long that make your journey comfortable. This time the silencer is wrapped in black colour along with heat shield. The muffler is positioned upswept unlike the straight fitting in the Zeus.
For the Suzuki Slingshot, the company selected to fit multi-spoke alloy wheels of 18 inch that looks amazing and gives the bike extra points in terms of looking. The overall bike is painted in black whether it is silencer, engine, footpegs, suspension or kick lever.
The Suzuki Slingshot shares the same engine which powers Suzuki Zeus. The engine configuration is 125cc, 4 stroke, air cooled, SOHC and single cylinder. The powertrain of the bike churns out a top power output of 8.7 Ps at 7500 rpm and returns torque value of 10 Nm at 3500 rpm. The new engine is mated with 5 speed gearbox that follows the gear shifting pattern of 1 down 4 up that is again same as Suzuki Zeus.
The company claims that it delivers higher power, acceleration and fuel economy as well. Suzuki has also incorporated self and kick start system to the bike to be in the competition in the market. The carburettor type is VM18 and the ignition type is CDI.
The newly launched Suzuki Slingshot is equipped with a 124cc, 4 stroke, 1 cylinder, SOHC mill that is enough capable to generate a max power of 8.7 Ps at 7500 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 10 Nm at 3500 rpm. This powertrain is loaded with 5 speed gearbox for better performance on road, it is also offered with self and kick start mechanism for comfort of the rider. The bike ensures agile acceleration and power with its new BS III complaint engine.

The Suzuki Slingshot comes in vibrant and stunning body colours that include Orange, Yellow, Silver, Red and Black. The body colour is painted at mask's panel, fuel tank, rear side panels and at front fender. Except these parts, the bike is wrapped in black shade that gives it killing style.

The Suzuki Slingshot can be called as the modified version of Suzuki's popular bike Zeus. The bike has been equipped with drum brakes at both ends that are responsible for safe riding. There is no option of assembling disc brake at any side and this may be the most disappointing part of the two-wheeler. Even the Zeus is available with front disc brake.

This time, the upgraded version of Suzuki Zeus, Suzuki Slingshot comes with higher ground clearance and better wheelbase that are regarded as the basic need for stability and off-roading capacity of a bike. Now the bike has 160mm of ground clearance and a wheel base of 1265mm as against 1240mm of Zeus. These features help to control the bike in critical conditions.
