Appearance

TVS Neo design and style is not new to Indian customers as a few two-wheeler manufacturer had tried it in the past but could not get that success what TVS Motors TVS Neo has done for it owner. Simply we can say that it has a classic blending of a bike and a scooterette.

The TVS Neo has stylish full faired mud-guard at front in body colour, it looks like a long beak of a goose. A lot of graphical job has been done on the front side panels. For India, the company is reported to launch a different headlamp cluster that will not house front turn indicators unlike Indonesian TVS Neo. The India bound moped will have front turn indicators placed at front panel.

TVS Neo will have a digital dashboard that is to incorporate fuel gauge, speedometer and tripmeter in blackbackground. Just below the digital console, a mobile charger shocker is fitted for ease of charging. Like other scooterette, TVS Neo also has footboard area for taking sack like items and providing wide leg and knee room for the rider. Following the latest trend in TVS Scooties, TVS Neo will have keyhole ring that make it easy to point the keyhole in dark.

TVS Neo is expected to have stepped-up seat for comfortable seating for rider and pillion, it has sharp tip and widens itself at rear. Body colour rear grab rail will also a standard fitment in the TVS Neo. On the base of style, rear one is also as same as the front one. It will be gifted with LED tail lamp slot along with turn indicators while the silencer will be in unique design.

Engine

The much-awaited moped of TVS, TVS Neo is supposed to have the same engine as in Indonesia, it will comprised of single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooled, SOHC powertrain. The engine of the TVS Neo will produce a top power value of 8.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and churns out a maximum torque figures of 8.5 Nm at 4,500 rpm with a displacement of 110cc.

The TVS Neo's powertrain will be added with a roller follower mechanism that works to control friction and vibrations, it is called i-Econo which make sure greater fuel economy. TVS Neo is blessed with a new system called iRide that allows the rider to switch between manual gears and automatic transmission as per your needs. You can use automatic transmission for short distance and heavy traffic while manual gears can be opted for higher acceleration.

Acceleration

Upcoming two-wheeler in India, TVS Neo might be loaded with a 110cc of engine that will comprised of 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder and SOHC. This engine configuration will generate a maximum power of 8.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and produces a peak torque of 8.5 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The dual clutch system, manual and automatic transmission, helps to opt for one at a time in view to get better power and acceleration and fuel economy.

Fuel Efficiency

In order to get higher mileage, the moped, TVS Neo, is expected to have i-Econo and iRide systems. Both work for ensuring greater mileage and increased power and acceleration. As we already discussed that TVS Neo will be loaded an air cooled, four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC powertrain that will develop a top power of 8.5 bhp at 8000 rpm and belts out a peak torque valve of 8.5 Nm at 4500 rpm. The moped will be assembled with a 4 litres of fuel tank.

Colours

The TVS Neo will be launched in India with four colour combinations such as blue, red, white and black, according to some reports. The body colour might be painted at front fender, fairing and rear side panels. However, the rear view mirrors might have black shade and body match rear grab rail. Available colours Are :

Brakes

TVS Motors may surprise Indian scooterette fans by loading disc brake at front tyre, it would be 220mm two calliper disc. Till date, no other scooterette has disc brake at any side whether it is front or rear. However the rear brake would be drum type and this combination will be the the segment first in India. Front disc will not only provide instant braking but also help to increase safety level.

Suspension

Indonesian TVS Neo comes with gas filled rear shock absorbers, but here in India TVS will not use the same system, instead it will use coil spring. Similarly the front fork would be a telescopic type. You know it already that this suspension system is good enough for TVS Neo.

Wheels and Tyres

The yet-to-launch moped, TVS Neo is believe to be loaded with wide 17 inch of wheels with spokes. According to initial pictures, it will have sleek six spoke black alloy wheels for greater performance and better fuel efficiency. The front and rear tyre size would be 2.75x17” 4 PR each. Again no other moped or scooterette is having that much tyre size till date.

Wheel Base and Controlling

TVS Neo might be loaded with standard wheelbase that would be around 1260mm. It is to be mentioned that the larger the wheelbase the higher the control. Apart from that the wheelbase also works for stability of a vehicle.

Comfortness

Scooterettes have upper hand due to luggage compartments and ease of handling that also allow any kind of rider to have a check on that. TVS Neo will also follow the rule and might feature under seat storage box, wide footboard area etc. In addition, TVS Neo will have mobile charger socket, keyring hole, LED turn indicators and digital dashboard.

Apart from that, TVS Neo will be equipped with comfortable seat, efficient brakes and low seat height.
