Yamaha SZ X launched in India with 153cc engine with max power of 12BHP and max torque of 12.8NM, it can be produce maximum of 55kmpl in city roads and 60kmpl on highway roads. well the bikes has a good appearance as comparing with the other bikes in this segment.

India Yamaha is now focusing on both rural and urban market and launching new bikes in India at times. Recently it has introduced Yamaha YBR 110 in India that was displayed at Delhi Auto Expo 2010 along with Yamaha SZ, it is also expected to be launched in India. Yamaha SZ is to compete with Bajaj Platina, Hero Honda Glamour, Suzuki Zeus and TVS Flame.

After overwhelming success of FZ series in India, India Yamaha is spreading its wings in other bike segment in India. The company has launched a new model in the country christened as Yamaha YBR 110cc. Yamaha already has three 110cc capacity bikes in India viz, Yamaha Crux S, Yamaha Alba 106 and Yamaha Libero G5. The new bike, Yamaha YBR, strengthens the range of entry-level bikes of Yamaha. This model including Yamaha SZ was displayed at Delhi Auto Expo 2010.
