The Yamaha G5 spoke machine is known for style and speed. This bike is no exception. The powertrain of the bike is enabled to develop more power and torque. The machine boasts Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine with displacement of 106cc. The bike houses a new technology that is called Air Induction system (AIS) that helps the engine to perform better and reduce gas emissions. The powertrain is well supported with single cylinder. Which produces maximum power of 7.6 PS at 7,500rpm and maximum torque of 7.85N.m at 6,000rpm. The power and torque is one of the best in the segment. Transmission type is advanced with four steps of regular engagement formula. Clutch is smooth with multiple disc. The ground clearance is much better i.e. 160mm. The female's frame is supported by the tubular dual cradle type and it comes with the tubular swing arm.
The machine's full fuel tank capacity is 13 litres and 1.1 litres of reserve. According to test figures, one can have a standard mileage of 55kmpl in city conditions. The mileage shall increase upto 62 on highways.

Yamaha G5 is equipped with drum brakes at both the tyres. The brakes are the surety of satisfactory control over the bike.
The front suspension of the bike is telescopic shock absorbers and the rear one is fitted with swing arm. The suspension is the largest in the segment with the specification of 120mm which ensures more stability and better grip on roads.

Wheel Base and Controlling

In the same way, the rider feels smooth riding and sitting. Rider seat is also wide and the knee recess is not an issue as enough space for knee rest.
