Appearance
Yamaha YBR model name is well-known for bike lovers across the world as it is already available in some of the countries but with 125cc of engine displacement. Now the company has launched the Yamaha YBR in India with 110cc engine. It is an entry-level bike and competes with Honda CB Twister, Hero Honda Splendor Plus, Bajaj Discover, TVS Star City.
Yamaha YBR has got attractive fit and finish that is supported by racing graphical work at fuel tank, side panel and rear side panels. The looks of Yamaha YBR is slightly impressed with Yamaha Alba but has distinctive features as well. And the more important thing is its competitive pricing.
Yamaha YBR has got multi-reflector headlamp in body colour cowl. The clear headlamp is claimed to provide better look at night and bad weather. Front indicators are placed at the both sides of the Yamaha YBR with black casing. A small black tinted black screen is provided to enhance the look of the bike and safety from velocity of winds. Rear view mirrors are located at the handlebars in black shade. Behind the cowl, a cool instrument panel is fitted which provides informations like fuel status, speed and other common indicators. Self start switch is placed at handlebar in line of general tradition.
The petrol tank of the Yamaha YBR is compact and sleek. It has been decorated with company logo and flow lines. Side panels has similar style graphics and model name, Yamaha YBR, in bold style. The seat of Yamaha YBR comes in step-up type with enough cushion. Seating position is upright that ensure minimal fatigue on long drive. Rear grab rail cum carrier is fitted at the rear end of the seat. You can use it for safety and carrying things.
Yamaha YBR has been loaded with all black silencer along with new style heat shield. Five spoke alloy wheels not only ensure better fuel efficiency but add to sporty looks of the Yamaha YBR.

Yamaha YBR has been equipped with a same type of engine that Yamaha Alba and Yamaha Libero G5 are having. Yamaha YBR comes loaded with 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder, SOHC engine with a displacement of 106cc. This entry-level powertrain produces a top power of 7.6 PS at 7500 rpm and generates a peak torque of 7.8 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
Yamaha YBR incorporates 4 speed constant mesh gearbox. It is blessed with latest self start and kick start facility. The ignition system is CDI.
The gear shifting is smooth and with multiple wet type clutch. Yamaha engines have great reputation in biking world and it has used the same technology keeping Indian roads in mind. The engine case is left open to have better air cooling.

Yamaha YBR has eye-catching cosmetic and body colour. The bike has been launched with three colour options such as black, red and black and red. Yamaha logo is pasted at fuel tank in bold style and Yamaha YBR is painted at side panels. Brakes
Yamaha YBR has been fitted with a standard braking system. The front and rear brake of the Yamaha YBR is drum type of 130mm dia.This 130mm dia drum brakes are sufficient enough to provide instant braking. However, using both braking at the same time is suggested.
Suspension
The suspension system of the Yamaha YBR is quite good. It features front telescopic hydraulic fork and rear adjustable hydraulic fork that ensure better handling and comfort.The rear shock absorber does provide stability to the bike with chassis. In addition, the rear fork promises hassle-free riding experience.
