Dal Makhani
Submitted by mahima on Mon, 05/11/2009 - 12:04Traditionally this dal was cooked on low flame, for hours, on charcoal. It is garnished with finely chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream. It is a delicious meal and a staple diet in Punjab and most of Northern India. It is commonly eaten with roti or rice.
