Paneer is a protein-rich food. Chilli Paneer is a spicy oriental dish, made with spicy chillies, onions and green peppers, usually served dry and garnished with spring onions.
Ingredients for Chilli Paneer :
- 2 tbsp Green chillies
- 1 tbsp Soya sauce
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1/4 tbsp Ajinomoto
- Oil - for frying.
- Little water.
- 350 grams Paneer
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Corn flour
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 cups onions
Method to prepare Chilli Paneer :
- Cut the paneer into cubes.
- Mix together the cottage cheese, 1 tsp salt, egg, corn flour, garlic, ginger and water to just coat the paneer pieces with the mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer caoted with mixture till it becomes golden in colour.
- Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan and stir fry the onions over high heat for half a minute.
- Add the green chillies, salt, soya sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto and the fried paneer cubes.
- Mix well, and garnish the yummy chilli paneer with spring onions and coriander leaves.
