Paneer is a protein-rich food. Chilli Paneer is a spicy oriental dish, made with spicy chillies, onions and green peppers, usually served dry and garnished with spring onions.
 


Ingredients for Chilli Paneer :

  • 2 tbsp Green chillies
  • 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 tbsp Ajinomoto
  • Oil - for frying.
  • Little water.
  • 350 grams Paneer

  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 cups onions 
Method to prepare Chilli Paneer :

  • Cut the paneer into cubes.
  • Mix together the cottage cheese, 1 tsp salt, egg, corn flour, garlic, ginger and water to just coat the paneer pieces with the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer caoted with mixture till it becomes golden in colour.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan and stir fry the onions over high heat for half a minute.
  • Add the green chillies, salt, soya sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto and the fried paneer cubes.
  • Mix well, and garnish the yummy chilli paneer with spring onions and coriander leaves.
