Ingredients for Sesame Soya Chicken:

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2-1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2-1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soya sauce
  • 1/2 cup water

Method to prepare Sesame Soya Chicken:

  • Cut chicken breast into 1 inch strips.
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken for about 6 minutes until it turns pink in colour.
  • Mix honey, soya sauce, water, corn starch, ginger and red pepper flakes well.
  • Beat until no corn starch lumps appear.
  • Pour sauce mixture into a bowl with chicken. Cook sauce until it thickens.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Cover and simmer for 10 min. until chicken starts to soak up the sauce.
