Indian Salad Basket is a easy to prepare and delicious to eat salad which is highly nutritious also.
Ingredients for Indian Salad in Basket:
- For the basket
- 1-tomato
- 1-potato
- 1-cucumber
- Oil for frying
- Filling
- 3-tomatoes chopped
- 2-onions chopped
- 2-green chilli chopped
- 1-boiled potato chopped
- 2cup- boiled sprouts
- 1cup -coriander
- 2tsp- lemon juice
- 1tsp- salt
- 1tsp- chat masala
Method to prepare Indian Salad in Basket:
- For the basket
- In pan heat oil, not cut tomato in 2 equal half, scoop the center part. Dip the tomato for few seconds in hot oil. Keep aside. Now cut potato into 2 equal parts and fry in hot oil till light golden brown, let it cool and scoop it from middle, keep aside. Now take cucumber cut it into 2or 3 equal parts and scoop the center part. Dip the cucumber for few seconds in hot oil. Keep aside.
- Filling
- In a bowl mix tomato, onions, green chilli, potato, sprouts, coriander, lemon juice, salt and chat masala (scooped tomato, potato and cucumber can also be added). Now fill the baskets with the filling and garnish with coriander. Serve chill.
