Salwar kameez is an Indian traditional dress which has always reigned the hearts of Indian women. With changing fashion trends, many dresses came and disappeared but I think salwar kameez is there to stay in the fashion scenario forever. Unlike many fashion clothes, this attire comes with many advantages like it feels always comfortable to wear a salwar suit. There is a whole wide variety available for salwar kameez designs. One important point about the Indian dressing styles is that they are most often marked by numerous variations which include both religious and regional variations. Any Indian dress provides an amalgamation and a plethora of colors, different textures and styles. The Indian dress called Salwar kameez comes with a long top or say, a long tunic which is called the kameez and pyjama which is just like the trousers. * Printed Salwar Kameez

 

The printed salwar kameez is the oldest and the most common form of salwar suits. In such kindof suits a printed fabric is used for preparing the dress. These prints can be of various types like the bold prints, the small prints, the medium sized prints, the floral prints, the linear prints, the circular prints etc. Such printed suits are always in demand for the daily wear segment. With a change in quality of the cloth, the same printed suits can be used for some special occasion too. These kind of suits are mostly used for the casual wear though. No separate accessory like laces, ribbons, buttons or embroidery is used in these suits because the print is itself a design. Moreover these prints almost hid any accessory that is used in the suit. That is why it is always better to get stitched a printed suit in a plain and simple manner.

 

The salwar kameez with a little work are very much in these days. In such suits a little pattern or a design is applied on the neck, sleeves and border of the kameez. The work done on such suits may make use of different things like buttons, threads, simple thin “gota”, laces, a piece of embroidery or just a simple touch of a contrast colour. Various shapes of necks can be provided in these suits. For example if you are planning for a plain red kameez, then you may go for a square or a round neck which wil be surrounded by a thin gota strip. * Anarkali patters or frock style Salwar Kameez

 

The anarkali suits take their inspiration from the movie Mughal-e-Azam. In this movie the famous beautiful actress of Bollywood Madhubala had worn these frock style suits. In this flick the actress had played the character called “Anarkali” and that is where these suits got their name from. The anarkali suits have come into the scene only a couple of months ago. These suits have a kameez which almost looks like a frock. This suit looks best on tall girls because the shape and design of the suit requires a tall body structure. The kameez of the anarkali suit may consist of one colour or contrast two contrast colours depending upon your own choice. The upper part of the kameez is often decorated with some light work of embroidery or a very little glitter. Both short sleeves or long sleeves can be used in these suits. The base of the kameez is quite wide, just as in case of a frock.

 

The Punjabi style suits carry a different look and beauty. The main thing about these Punjabi suits is that there is a very little or no work on the kameez. The heavy work is done on the dupattas only. In fact, the whole beauty of this Punjabi suit lies in its dupatta only. These dupattas are enriched with beautiful work of embroidery and little motif that provides a superb glittery look to the whole suit. The Patiala suits are another beautiful type of suits. These suits have comparatively a shorter kameez then the usual ones. In fact the lower part or the salwar is the one which makes it different. The Patiala salwar is also known as  the “patto wali salwar”.This suit has also got its origin in Punjab just as it name suggests. Patiala is a city in the Punjab state of India. The Patiala suits are preferred by most of the women because they are very comfortable and durable, especially during the summers. This suit, specially the salwar is very loose and and is stitched with pleats. The most distinguished characteristic of this salwar is that the  folds of cloth stitched together meet at the bottom.  If you want to have a perfectly stiched Patiala salwar then you will need  double the length of material. The smooth fall of the pleats of the Patiala Salwar is in such a way that it provides  a beautiful draping effect.

 

The embroidered salwar kameez look best when some beautiful delicate patterns are created with colourful threads. Sometimes the colour of this thread is the same as that of the suit. This style also looks quite simple and beautiful. The embroidery on these suits can be done with a thin thread, a thick thread, cotton thread or a silk thread. Various patterns can be used during the embroidery. Embroidery is also a durable work on any suit. It does not fade away with time.

 

 

* Bandhej Salwar Kameez

 

The word Bandhej finds its origin in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Bandhej is a kind  of tie-dye .This term has been derived from the Sanskrit word banda which means "to tie". Bandhej is also called Bandhini or Tie Dye or Bandhni or Bandana depending on the regional pronunciation. The suits of Bandhej are available in a wide range of colours. Various dyes are used to provide patterns on the cloth of these suits. These suits look beautiful in rainy season with their bright lively colours.

Again choose the shampoo that has been designed especially for the dry hair. The shampoos  that are made for dry hair have more nourishing ingredients in them. Also these shampoos possess good amount of moisturizing ingredients. The moisturizing ingredients mean a higher level of essential fatty acids that are good for the dry hair. People with dry hair should use a very mild shampoo that should possess ingredients like olive oil, almond oil, honey, chamomile, essential oils etc. Such hydrating shampoos are good enough for the dry hair. The dry hair should also be treated with a moisturizing conditioner immediately after the washing of hair. This use of conditioner is a must for maintaining the dry hair. Shampoo for colored or chemically treated hair
 

If your hair have gone through colour or chemical treatment  then you should be very careful while choosing the hair products. You should use such shampoo that will be able to retain the color of your hair. This shampoo should also be able to repair the damage caused during the coloring treatment. If we do not protect our colored hair from sunlight, the colour of our hair fades away. The UV rays also damage our hair. So the shampoo used for the coloured hair should also be able to protect our hair from the harmful rays of the sun. The shampoos and the conditioners for color treated hair  should contain the  nourishing ingredients that not only condition and repair the hair but they also protect the color of our hair. Dandruff is a common problem these days. To get rid of this problem use an anti-dandruff shampoo and anti-dandruff conditioner . These  anti-dandruff shampoos are able to cleanse the scalp in a very well manner.  The anti-dandruff shampoos contain a special ingredient callede ketoconazole which  act directly to inhibit the growth of the fungus. This fungus is responsible for the dandruff. The anti dandruff shampoos also maintain the  pH level of the scalp. But before using any anti dandruff shampoo you should consult a dermatologist as some of these shampoos may be too harsh for your hair scalp.
