They say eyes are the windows to the soul. A little attention and a little care can make your eyes the best feature. You may cover your eyes with some make up but if you want a bright vision along with sparkling eyes then you will have to follow certain eye care tips. Let us check out that what eye care can be done in order to achieve healthy and beautiful eyes.

 

Follow a healthy lifestyle for beautiful eyes

Taking care, not only, of your eyes but of your entire body begins with your lifestyle issues. What we eat reflects clearly on our body. For keeping your eyes healthy and to stay away from eye problems, you should eat green leafy vegetables cabbage, spinach, fenugreek etc. Eating carrots, cod liver oil, liver, nuts and red or yellow fruits are also essential for the good condition of eyes. As far as possible try to eat fresh and natural food. One should not load himself with self prescribed supplementary doses of Vitamin-A. Try to eat food that contains vitamin A, like pumpkin, squashes, carrots, mangoes, eggs and fish.
 

Regular visit to eyes specialist

If you are suffering from any kind of eye problem like itching, redness or any allergy in eyes then you should visit your eye specialist very soon. Even without any problem you should visit the eye clinic at least in every three months so that any kind of eye diseases can be treated at the right stage in right time. Go for a complete eye examination in every two years till you are forty years old. After this age this examination should be done every year.
 

Relax your eyes

Keep a strict distance between your eyes and whatever you are looking at. If your work involves sitting in front of the computer screen for several hours then do not forget to close and relax your eyes for one minute after every half an hour. You may also do several simple eye exercises. One helpful exercise is holding a pen out at arm's length and looking at its tip till tears roll down your cheeks. You can also put a slice of cucumber or potato on your eye lids in order to relax them.
 

Good sleep for beautiful eyes
 

The best way to give rest to your eyes is to go to sleep. After an exhausting day your eyes need complete rest and that can be achieved through a good beauty sleep of about eight hours.
 

Wash your eyes
 

Whenever you come from outside wash your eyes with cold and clean water. These cold splashes of water will automatically relax your eyes and will also remove any dust particle.
 

Take care of eyes lenses
 

If you use eye lens or contact lens then follow the instructions given by your doctor. Always wash your hands before wearing or removing the lenses. Wear good sunglasses when going outside.
 

Apply natural ingredients on eyes
 

All of us know that the area around our eyes is very delicate and sensitive. If you do not want to look older then your age then you should take care of this part. Apply natural ingredients like aloe vera gel or coconut oil to use as a hydrating gel around your eyes. This should be done at least twice a week.
 

Use of eyes drops
 

If you are feeling inflammation in your eyes, do not use the eye drops at your own. Consult the doctor first. Do not rub your eyes at that time as any kind of eye infection may increase that infection.
 

Drink water for beautiful eyes
 

To bring that beauty on your face drink plenty of water. This is very good for your eyes as well as for the entire body. Drinking of at least eight to ten glasses of water is very good for our health.
 

Keep dark circles away for beautiful eyes
 

No night cream can do any magic to your eyes until you take a good sleep, drink plenty of water and eat healthy food. A good sleep and lots of water also help you to get rid of the problem of dark circles.
