Stress and dark chocolates have a great similarity. Ask what ? Well both of them are harmless till taken in small amounts. A little chocolate or a little stress won't kill you but severe stress can definitely harm your body and mind. In a world where the day begins with a cellphone ring, passes on running here and there and ends with the burden of tomorrow's work on mind, I think all of us need some easy stress busters. We tell you about them here so that you get a break from the hustle and bustle of your life.
Proper Breathing: Breathing properly affects your whole body and it's system. Try to breathe in fresh air. Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale properly. While inhaling just imagine that you are taking all positive vibes inside. When you exhale just try to think that you are releasing all negativities outside. This breathing procedure can be done anytime anywhere and is a great stress buster.
Move Your Body: Do not sit idle. Just get up and do some sort of physical activity. Sitting idle and worrying about things will just make the things worse and we are sure you do not want that! Go for a brisk walking for around 10-12 minutes daily. Stretch to relax. One of the best exercises is to dance. You need not to be a perfectionist like Michael Jackson. Simply move your hands, feet, waist and enjoy your dance completely. But before doing any kind of exercise do not forget to consult your doctor.
Think Positive: Positivity can be induced by you and you only. Why do all of us worry so much? If you think just think positive. Change all your negative perspectives into positive ones. Expect good from life. Even if something disturbing happens let it go soon. Feel happy for your as well as other people's success.
Humour Heals: Indeed laughter is the best medicine. Laugh with reason and laugh without reason. Yes, this mouth yoga is a perfect stress buster for those who have forgot to smile in the busy schedule of life. Try to laugh once or more in a day.
Good Night Sleep For a Good Tomorrow: While sleeping the metabolism of our body slows down so naturally we feel relaxed. If possible go to sleep early at night. Fix some particular time for going to sleep. Try to sleep at that time only. This discipline of time boundness will set a body clock for you. Also you will not suffer from lack of sleep.
Socialize: Meet you friends, relatives or various people. Talk on some happy topics but if you want you may also share your sorrows with them. This makes you feel light and stress free. Even if you have got many responsibilities at your work place, socialising is a great tool to beat the stress.
Enjoy Music: Music has a deep effect on your mood. If your mood is alright and happy, the worries will themselves say goodbye to you. Just switch to a favourite number of yours, close your eyes and lie down for 5-10 minutes. Forget everything and enjoy ther rhythm. Music is a great dose for your mind.
Talk With Kids: Children have a world of their own. They do not worry for tomorrow and enjoy every moment. Talk to them. Believe me, you will feel great as the kids' nonsense talks, sometimes sound most sensible.
Appointment With God: Everyday fix an appointment with God. Pray daily. Doing this will fill you with hope, positivity and optimism and you will also feel closer to yourself.
Jot Down: Do you write a diary? If not, start doing it now. If not daily then at least 2-3 times a week. Expressing your thoughts in form of writing is also a great way to release your stress.
