It is candy bar in shape, has typical Nokia style rounded edges and looks very simple and easy to use. The basic entry-level phone, Nokia 101, has 1.8 inches wide colors display that shows 65 K colors. The resolution is bearable and stands at 128 x 160 pixels. The layout of its simple keypad is also very easy to use. There are clearly 5 Navi-keys, two soft keys, call keys and end calls and on the sides, there are volume keys. The phone is pocket-able as it just measures 110 mm in length, 45.5 mm in width and 14.9 mm in thickness. It is also light weight at 69.6 grams weight.

Nokia 101 is a basic, entry-level dual SIM handset. It lacks multimedia features, does not support local data connectivity, Internet access and web browsing. Simple features common in most phones as Bluetooth, browser and JAVA support is also missing from the specs list of this phone. It does not even have an integrated camera or video recorder. It is not at all an apt choice for tech savvy or those who are keen on using these modern mobile technology driven devices. It can just do the calling as per one’s requirement.
