The keypad to the QVGA touchscreen LCD, to the front-facing video call camera, is tightly integrated to maximize the front real estate of the handset. At the back side of the phone there is a ribbed pattern casing which feels nice to the touch. It has a large and bright QVGA display screen.
There is a proprietary connector on the left side of the phone, that houses above the memory expansion card slot. Sony Ericsson G700 has also included a dedicated keylock button on the side of the phone. The metallic stylus is located on the upper left corner of the handset. The phone weighs 99 grams which makes it relatively compact hnadset.
