TVS Apache Series 2012 Roll Out

TVS, one of the leading company's in the two-wheeler market recently introduced the 2012 Apache RTR series. The new series has been upgraded in terms of style. The company has thus given it the promotional tagline of 'Scarily Fast'. The slight modifications done are not for a particular Apache model. In fact, these modifications have been generalised on all the TVS Apache models like the TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Apache RTR 180 and the TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS. Some of these changes include the LED pilot lamps which activate on starting the bike everytime, sharp tank shrouds, sculpt digital console, angleing of seat cowls, powerful engine cowl, blue backlit display, grunged style graphics in two colors and carbon fibre cues.

As stated by Mr. H S Goindi, President of Marketing department of TVS Motor, the Apache RTR has improved immensely through the use of new engineering technology and stylish designing. Special attention has been given to improve the overall performance of the bike by keeping in mind every minute detail, system and components. The company is also getting good response for the Apache brand from the buyers. Talking about the modifications, the company has not made any alterations to the mechanics of the TVS Apache RTS series. RTR 160 still generates a power of 15.2 PS and generates a top speed of 118 km/h.

The Apache 180 generates a maximum power of 17.03 PS and produces a top speed of 124 km/h. The Apache 160 comes in 4 dual tone colors which are red, green, yellow and grey. Black is, however, the base colour. Similarly, the Apache 180 is also available in four colours, that is, white, black, yellow and grey. However, the ABS model will come only in white and black variants. far as pricing is concerned, the TVS Apache RTR 160 is priced at Rs. 67,505, the Apache RTR 180 at Rs. 72,090, the Apache RTR 180 has been priced at Rs. 72,090 and the Apache RTR 180 DBS will cost around Rs. 82,780.
