V Link Group Launch the Revolutionary Meru Plus Service
‘Meru’, one of the most renowned names in the Indian Taxi Service, has brought in their new ‘Meru Plus’ in New Delhi NCR. With this service the V-Link Travel Solutions aim to provide extensive service to the customers and raise the servicing standards even further higher.
CEO of Meru Cabs, Siddhartha Pahwa added that Meru Plus service will charge the customer only for the distance travelled and the actual time for which the car has been retained for use. Meru Plus will have transparent billing and flexible services unlike the usual Taxi servixes that offer rigid 4 hour or 8 hour packages. Neeraj Gupta, MD V-Link Group also stated that with this service they aim to provide the customers with a premier transportation with best-in-class customer service and overall a better experience.
GPS and GPRS systems will also be added in the Meru Plus vehicles which will allow the company to track the cars in real time. This will help improve the safety especially for women and senior citizens who need to travel at odd hours. There will be an automated audio-visual speed alarm and one will be able to book a car through a 24x7 call centre or website.
To further enhance the convenience factor, there will be credit/debit card payment facility within the car & a printed receipt will be handed at the end of the journey. The chauffeurs will be trained and stringent selection process will be followed. Meru Plus is currently operational in Mumbai and Delhi NCR. The services however are available to travel from NCR to Agra, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Haridwar.
