Spielberg to make film on Osama Bin Laden's death

Hollywood heavyweight Steven Spielberg is reportedly interested in adapting the forthcoming Navy Seal literary account of Bin Laden's demise. According to The New York Post, Steven Spielberg is currently in talks with Matt Bissonnette, the former Navy SEAL involved in the operation that led to Bin Laden's death, who announced a forthcoming book under the pen name Mark Owen detailing what really happened. The book is expected in the US in September, under the title No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama bin Laden. The daily newspaper adds that Matt Bissonnette has also started negotiating with cable network HBO.

Kathryn Bigelow is first in line to provide her take of the hunt for Bin Laden, which will hit theaters in December under the title Zero Dark Thirty. Joel Edgerton, Kyle Chandler, Mark Strong and Jessica Chastain are part of the cast for the patriotic thriller.
