Workshop organized on Health Awareness by students in Varanasi
Students of Journalism and Mass Communication from Banaras Hindu university (BHU) along with the students of Government Girls Inter College (GGIC) carried a health awareness campaign at Tarapur village under Kashi Vidyapith.
The one day workshop was organized to educate the people of Tarapur village regarding health issues. The motive behind the campaign was to spread awareness regarding the health problems in rural areas.
The students prepared various teaching aids like posters, playcards displaying photograph and slogans. Through these teaching aids the students tried to educate the people of Tarapur about health problems like leucoderma, HIV-AIDS and female feticide.
A scientific session was also organized at GGIC earlier wherein the experts from the medical field made presentation on the health problems.
