Yuvraj Singh is back, to play in T20 World Cup

Star batsman Yuvraj Singh has been selected for the Twenty20 World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka in September, according to reports. Earlier, BCCI doctors had declared Yuvraj Singh fit to play cricket. Yuvraj was already a part of India's 30-member preliminary squad for the tournament in
Sri Lanka. His last cricket match was in November, 2011.

Selectors today also picked up squads for two Tests and two T20s against New Zealand. Yuvraj Singh, who played a crucial role in India's ODI World Cup triumph last year, had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy in the US.

The squad for the New Zealand series: MS Dhoni (C), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Pragyan Ojha, Umesh Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane, Piyush Chawla, Ishant Sharma, Suresh Raina.
